Good to get your foot in the door for juniors, but it's a deal with the devil
Pros
Excellent choice of projects Good people at artist and production coordinator levels Excellent pay depending on your level (but it's also a trap because of how desperate they are)
Cons
Upper management is clueless and is beholden to London Will always look to cut corners, it could be software licenses, support personnel, equipment and hardware No real long term strategy no matter what they try to sell to you. It's always jumping from one emergency project to the next without considering investing in real efficiencies such as retention, training, software and pipeline development You will probably do lots of overtime, unpaid overtime if you are a lead or supervisor Production drives the schedule and the bid days, more so than any other studio, leading to every project stretched way too thin The other side effect of the aggressive schedules means that it encourages a culture of bullying and bad behaviour amongst the producers
