Graduate school at MIT was fantastic. There were great opportunities, incredible resources, brilliant colleagues. Access to collaborators was amazing, and technical staff were excellent.

Cons

There can be pressure to perform. Expectations are very high. Social skills among colleagues are... highly variable.
