Pros

Challenging, eye-opening; you work really hard, but it's worth it; you are not cutting edge - you reach beyond the cutting edge

Cons

Steep learning curve, not much time to enjoy all the opportunities offered, competitive atmosphere can be off-putting to some people

Pros

Substantial flexibility in hours, amazingly talented & intelligent community, great gym facilities (climbing wall, pool, basketball courts), emphasis on learning, fast-paced, free classes for employees

Cons

Salary was pretty low, and there was sometimes too much to do and not enough people who knew how to do it (i.e., easy to get burned out).

Pros

At MIT you get a unique opportunity to work with or just be around and get a chance to get to know some of the greates minds in almost every field: engineering, life sciences, business, computer and material sciences, etc. In addition, there are a lot of activities that stimulate both professional and personal growth.

Cons

Very competitive and hence might be some difficulties in establishing collaborations.
