      Pros

      - Decent salary and pension scheme - Good overall benefits - Free quality food at lunchtime

      Cons

      - Blame culture, scapegoat seekers - IT department split between UK and Denmark - Lots of travel needed due to the above - Poor senior management, 'hero' culture where a few highly technical people are key to everything - No clear strategy or direction in IT

      Pros

      Good brand recognition that is globally recognised. Fantastic prospects if you are a white Danish man, you don’t even have to be good at what you do.

      Cons

      Forget about rising to the top unless you are a white Danish man. You can be a top performer for over 20 years and passed over for managerial positions because the Manaegment prefers a Dane to be reporting to him. The leadership team is nothing but a Danish boys club. If you don’t have the right skin color, just be prepared to be lorded over and passed over for any good opportunities.

      Work life balance, company pension, ability to travel, company expense account

      Cons

      Too much politics and jostling for position. No common sense of trying to achieve things together. Maersk simply doesn't get or understand digital. Too many institutional senior leaders with no department experience at all. If you are not a 'Red' personality type you won't fit in.
