It is a place where great learning opportunities exist every day. Maersk is the world's leading shipping company and it offers the best practices in the industry

Cons

Development and advancement in one's career tend to become stagnant after some years (about 6). In the beginning, growth is very fast, and one can grow a lot from an analyst entry level position to a manager position. Afterwards, it is hard to keep on growing

Pros

The company overall is a great place to work. The facilities are nice. The company provides a fitness program manager, a gym, a volleyball court, tennis court, and a baseball field. Maersk is also voluntarily focused on being "green" and doing its part to make the world cleaner.

Cons

There is little opportunity to advance unless you are hand picked by management. Many departments practice Maersk values, which emphasize a work/life balance, but this is not consistent across all areas.
