Cons
Difficult to progress in career due to most bigger structure stores having 2 trainee managers and store manager positions coming up very infrequently. Illness and absence is handled poorly. The automatic three absences equals disciplinary is very exclusionary to those with chronic illness or mental health issues. Sales techniques are too pushy. Customers find demos uncomfortable if they haven’t specifically asked for it. By encouraging staff to approach people who don’t want help you are opening that staff member up to verbal abuse. Incredibly pushy with disciplinary procedures for staff members ‘underperforming’
