      Pros

      There's a good management track, amazing benefits and company/employee involvement, and a great working environment.

      Cons

      Still a pretty conservative work place, though I think that's mostly due to it's location in the Bible Belt.

      Pros

      The men and women behind the reigns at CenturyLink really seem to have the well-being of the employees, community, and longevity of the business at heart.

      Cons

      If you're used to a faster paced development cycle, you might be a little frustrated. Some projects have a very long lifecycle, so switching gears from a faster environment may be a little frustrating at times.

      Pros

      Good people, work-life balance, expanding, time off policies, benefits For the area, this is a great place to work. It partially depends on what team you're on, but I know there are some people that are very happy here.

      Cons

      Stagnant systems, still working on that "one company mindset" I'm personally not a fan of the Monroe area, but I also didn't grow up here. The systems I work on are stagnant, and I've watched an application grow with bad framework because requirements were changing so rapidly and it wasn't even supposed to be an application to start with. I don't think this is the norm here, but it is my experience.
