Pros

Qwest has a Good work environment, is quickly expanding, fully owned subsidiary so no concept of benches / no work etc.

Cons

Well quick expansion means dilution of talent. Hierarchy created at will ill defined promotion policies. Very few things beyond infrastructure for work.

The managers are very professional as well as upper management. Great benefits, pay, job autonomy.

Cons

somewhat fragmented communication between departments, some in-efficient use of time due to too many meetings. Also going through a merger.

Pros

The pay was good until they decreased it. We did have a good work from home program but it also has changed.

Cons

Unless you live in Monroe your not safe from getting layed off. Some of the senior managment I highly respect...but most of them from Monroe only have thier jobs because of the "good ol' boy" program.
