Good place if you enjoy the mundane

Pros

Expectations are not that high and don't need to be too sophisticated to succeed at being a PM in Century LInk. Work life balance is good and management is very reasonable. Working in Denver if great if you enjoy a mixture of city and mountains.

Cons

Hard place to accomplish product releases. Development cycles are tremendously long and takes 18 months before first release which is typically so scoped back it is meaningless.

Freedom to do the job without overly onerous restrictions. Communication from top management as to what the strategy of the company is.

Cons

Very few downsides to working at Embarq.
