Pros

Nothing this place is horrible to work for!

Cons

Everything is wrong with this place and it starts with your corporate rotating schedule. I recommend you find work elsewhere. Customers are terrible. They come in and expect you to drop your current customer to help them. They don’t set appointments, they have unrealistic expectations and don’t have a common curtesy for their fellow human. They have no manners and are completely rude. Senior Management, Service Management and corporate do not care about you! They only care about checking boxes to make the senior corporate staff happy. These people have no idea how to run a business effectively, they just closed 50 stores and facilities. The installation side of the business is terrible. They hire people into a service field who have no idea how the installation process works and they don’t have enough general contractors to support their installation programs. They talk about the top line but look at the bottom line. All the stuff they sell 20%-30% of it gets re-ordered because it’s incorrect, of poor quality or the customer complains enough they give it away for free, give them a discount or they reorder, give it to them for free and then give them a gift card for their troubles. Like forreal?? Just say no and move on. Whatever happened to taking care of the customer the first time , making a profit, instead of providing very poor service then have to give everything away?! They don’t care about those numbers. They only care about the numbers going into the register. Their percentages and calculating system is so jacked up. Everyone thinks they are making a profit but truth is look at the loss ratio not what your putting in the register everyday. Everyone in this place is flying by the seat of their pants. They promise things to your face then turn around and deliver the opposite. Each manager tells you something different leading to conflict because no one is on the same page. The store managers walk around with their hands in their pockets barking commands and are oblivious to what is really happening on the floor. They could care less as long as they are making the big bucks, taking vacations, getting bonuses and aren’t getting a surprise walk in by the corporate staff. This place will suck your soul away. Corporate people don’t know who you are or care about you. They don’t come in shaking your hand, say hello by your first name or say good job for your hard work. They ask who are they and why aren’t they doing more. They never say thank you or congratulate you on any achievements. All they say is do more, do more do more and when you don’t deliver you are on the blacklist.

Pros

1) if you want to get settled and have a good work life balance - you can start working here as you won't have much work to do. 2) Free Food, cab available and good benefits.

Cons

The company is formed as cost cutting from US to India. Benefits are reducing as the company continues to cut down cost. Annual Increment reducing to Single Digits. 1) No quality work, the skills set you're hired will be rarely used. 2) Managers' here are mostly from Service company background, too much of micromanagement - work from home restrictions. Manager wants to know why you're leaving early or coming late. Your vacation leaves are entirely on Mangers' discretion. Not unlike the US based culture - 3) Growth is purely on Managers hand - too much of favoritism to know employees. 4) Technical peoples are very less paid and no technical ppl are over paid. 5) The culture is more going as a service based company and rather being a product based company. 6) Rare on site opportunities. 7) You can grow more on other things rather developing yourself as a technical expertise.

Worst Management, US puppets. Run as Service based.

Pros

Great food. Lots of leisure time. Nothing else I can think of.

Cons

Office timings are such that you wont be able to maintain a work life balance. Managers are running it at 24/7 service based production support company. They are not ready to listen to employees opinions. Whether married/bachelor/have kids, all are considered same with no flexibility in terms of shift. Although the company has Work From Home policy, managers are too mean to allow people doing it even in worse condition. Managers can do anything they want without thinking anything good about their people. They are given all the power. They force people to agree on what they say. Company uses old technology which is outdated in market. While hiring they make false promises and later cheat like anything. Lowe's being in retail and run by service based by the managers doesn't sound acceptable. Managers just want to become superhero so they introduce new policy (even though it's not required many times) everyday but make employees life hell. They don't give a proper justification. So much politics on HR side as well where they don not follow the right processes and make employees suffer for everything. They make employees suffer a lot even for a small thing. The list is long to write down here.
