      No one advocates for employees who bring up unethical treatment for reporting workload vs the 8 hour day

      Pros

      Depends on where you work within the company on how you are treated. Have worked all over and some areas are great and some (where currently am) are horrid

      Cons

      Folks: HR, WP Relations will not help you if you have a slave driver for a supervisor who is only interested in getting themselves ahead on the backs of subordinates and systematically tries to get you to resign or get you fired for bringing up issues--it will be swept under the rug. Don't believe the hype about ethics at Leidos.

      Pros

      Generous Vacation and sick leave are about the only Pros that can be reported for this company. However, If you are lucky enough to be employed within a directorate that respects work/life balance, then working here while having a family can be good.

      Cons

      No career development No pathway to be promoted Last 5 years no real raise No true review process of positions. Managers are forced to rate employees on a "bell curve" regardless of how many employees work within the lab or how hard each employee works

      Pros

      Inherited some of the smart people from SAIC

      Cons

      - Much of management knows little to nothing about the industry they work in - Engineers and other such employees are forced to take vacation or leave without pay when there are "coverage gaps" but management is still covered and paid - Company lacks any serious intellectual property - Company doesn't do hardware production - Two items above make it very difficult to compete with other companies on contracts - Stopped investing much into the employees (SAIC used to do this quite a bit)
