      Pros

      Raises in the beginning of your work history are very good.

      Cons

      Management tends to ignore promoting from within. When you get high in your salary band, the raises are extremely low.

      I cannot think of any Pros to work at Lanxess.

      Cons

      Such a messy company without any clear vision nor direction from the management. Many of my colleagues both in local and international keep leaving. I've heard whole team from 1 country left like boycotting. Therefore, organization structure and work scope keep changing as well. Due to many changes, communication is corrupt internationally and seems like management doesn't know what to do. If you join them, you may only experience the chaos. Not recommended.

      Offer decent assumed benefits I guess.

      Cons

      They low ball you. If you didn’t work at Bayer in 1985, good luck moving up. Essential groups never come into the office, while others are forced to. There is no job progression or career path for anyone. Almost everyone is overworked and the people that do work are underpaid.
