Pros

It really is a beautiful store to work in. Customers are amazing! And it could be a great brand if a few things change

Cons

The cons are plentiful like the fields of lavender in Provence. There is no training from the company, unless you call reading emails independently training. I don't call that training. It's incredibly stupid since cosmetics is all about how well you are training your people to sell and show your products. Upper management is a joke and get paid for...I have no idea. Maybe to berate the staff and store managers? When they do visit it is just for a couple of hours. Why bother. All the money in this company goes to frivolous, unnecessary things instead of using it to better the shops, such as more payroll hours. Hint: the more payroll hours you give, within reason of course, the more money you make. If you keep the payroll hours the same every year you can't expect more money. Unless you expect the SPLH (sales per labor hour) to be over $200 for each associate per hour! Give more, get more L'Occitane!!! Store staffing is so limited by payroll, even for higher volume shops that when someone leaves you are left very short staffed and have to hire on the fly, train or you are screwed. Oh, and reviews/raises can be a joke. Once a year only you can get a raise! Ten whole cents lol. And the pay for staff is not comparable. Everyone is a key holder and works alone a lot. $10.50 ish is not reasonable for the level of work you expect

Pros

Gratis, monthly bonuses, great hourly pay

Cons

They are more about numbers and putting high end $100+ skincare products on people with a lower budget. They force you to put the Divine line on everyone who walks into that door. The managers are not trained properly to respect their employees and clients.

Pros

They have nice products from France.

Cons

No room for advancement, pay scale is horrible. Do not value employees at all.
