Pros

Benefit package Time off 401K Majority of corporate employees you will never meet Some people do care

Cons

Pay work life balance "Branch Managers" Lack of direction, understanding how American education systems work, and an overall lack of vision or leadership Manipulators and dishonest about everything! Don't respect people they fear or ask questions Apparently training, education, and asking questions are 4 letter words at Kumon.

Pros

Fine if you're not in desperate need for money.

Cons

- Awful employer who is rude and consistently belittles you. - Poor pay ($7.50 an hr) for the amount of work required. - Poor training and management: you need to manage 3-4 students with no sense of direction or training.

Pros

The people are the best part of this company. I can honestly say that they are some of the best coworkers I ever had the opportunity to work with. Everyone works really hard and appreciates each other's hard work. It's great if you need to get your foot in the door, but you will quickly realize that it is not a place to have a career.

Cons

The management is the worst. Their lack of direction and confidence and appreciation in their employees is evident, and will be the downfall of this company. So many good people and hard workers leave because their efforts are not appreciated by their bosses or by the executives. There is no transparency. You will go about your day, week, month thinking everything is fine, and then out of no where (usually every October) there will be layoffs or a "change in direction" which ultimately leads to more unhappiness for the employees. Employees are not asked what they think and advancement is unheard of. If you are hired for a position, chances are you will remain in that position until you quit - or unless you sleep with the management.
