      Repetitive work but a good experience

      Pros

      Working with the kids at Kumon was fun. The supervisor gave guidelines but allowed the employees to exercise judgment as well. The hours were very good and could be adjusted.

      Cons

      The constant grading work was very tedious. The pay was not very good compared to other opportunities. The curriculum is very rigid and is not tailored to customization.

      Pros

      You get to work with children and see them excel in math and reading. Indirectly, you get to keep up with your own math and reading skills.

      Cons

      The hours are short (only 3 or 4 hours per day, 4 days a week). Sometimes children can be annoying.
