      Each employee owns his or her career development. In some groups there are managers who work with their employees to develop them to their maximum potential.

      Cons

      Due to the silo-type of environment in IT, it is robbing the employees of fully embracing a truly integrated technical experience.

      Pros

      Koch Industries has a strong internal culture, which begins with the CEO Charles Koch. There is a definite philosophy which is in line with their conservative political and economic views. It is a successful business.

      Cons

      The size and culture can be challenges to navigate. There are similar challenges in any large organization, including accountability issues and difficulties in maintaining cohesive management.

      - Very knowledgeable and helpful coworkers - Laid back environment in most IT groups - Growing company with lots of room for advancement and chance to change roles

      Cons

      - Process standardization or change takes and act of Congress before it gets implemented - Some business's resist change which oddly enough is one of the principles the company adheres too - Getting a raise takes literally 3 months and requires approvals from ppl who have no idea who you are or what value you create in your role - No holiday or tenure bonuses, KBS seems to rarely give out bonuses while other Koch companies give them out more often - Work from home and schedule flexibility is lacking
