Pros

You will be surrounded by the most amazing minds you'll ever meet. The groups and efforts that are value-driven are showcased by the executive teams monthly. There will never be a dull moment and every day is different. The achievement of team-oriented objectives and maintaining a customer centric focus are highly sought after and are a standard throughout all of the Koch companies.

Cons

Remote work is still a novel concept and you must be near C-Suite for management to entertain the idea or you must have great favor with C-Level Executives. Talent acquisition is par, retention is poor. Morale is mediocre but they talk a good game. Drink the Corporate Kool-Aid fast and early, but even then, watch your back and trust nobody. Lastly, do not get accustomed to seeing anybody as there are significant shifts in roles, teams, titles, and companies all the time.

Pros

Benefits, cafeteria, parking, good soldiers

Cons

Leadership without clear objective or transparency, pressure to show your value and "transform" the company, 11 different companies with 11 different leaderships and goals and objectives and systems, politics (if you are not in, you are out and at risk). Also, if you move here, you are at higher risk. There are only 4 large employers in town - Koch, Spirit, Textron, and Cargill. This is bad for your salary growth (why do they need to give you any raises or bonuses - where are you going to go?), and bad for alternative employment options. You'll have to be ok with moving out. Keep a 6-month emergency fund at all times. Koch tends to move folks up and out, and a change in your supervisor could be the difference between a great job and your exit. If I could do it over, I would not have moved here. I would opt for larger city.
