Pros

Nice HQ in Central London, not much else.

Cons

Next to no staff benefits, poor treatment of support staff, elitist and zero support for new starters. The lower-mid level Managers have no idea how to manage people and create a culture of fear amongst new starters. I witnessed managers inappropriately touching female members of staffing, condescending and bullying behaviour towards junior members of staff and a total disregard towards support staff. The managers do a great job of managing upwards but have no idea about the staff below them, and looking inwards it appears to just be a competition amongst the predominantly male managers of who can succeed the quickest. I think this reviewer summed things up perfectly: "When I got offered the job at KF I thought I had made it ... top in the class of estate agency. How wrong can one person be. The perception is that they are a great company and know what they are doing. In reality the middle management team run around in circles, back stabbing each other. I was one of the lucky ones, my face fitted but if your face didn't fit your life was made very difficult"

Not for the working class

Pros

There are some friendly people in KF and deapite the public school boys club mentality; you can have a good laugh with some of them.

Cons

Where do I start - Admin staff (whom are usually of working class origin) are expendable, disposable and replaceable. There is little to no guidance or direction from management and if you ask it, you are chastised for wanting to be "spoon fed". Very little to no cooperation between offices and a distinct culture of buck passing and an inability to take responsibility. If you are a fee earner and from a public school you are liked and respected; if you don't fall in to that category then you are pretty much a non entity. Sycophants make headway and are given carte blanche to act as they please. Plenty of promises - not much delivered The company has no respect for the little guy or average working man, with a sole focus on money - regardless of the wider impact on the community.
