Pros

Lower people in the ranks are actually nice people but all disappointed with the direction of the firm.

Cons

Ancient working behaviours, sexist male behaviour very common, favouritism, don't believe in flexible working, preach values but that is it don't act with values 99% of the time. Impossible structure for non fee earners to flourish, you do the leg work above and beyond for fee earners, partners and associates but never appreciated, humiliated, blamed for their shortcomings, spoken down to, if you decide to start a family you are forgotten and side lined. I've seen many come and go. Working from home is hated due to micromanagement across departments, pay is significantly lower to market rates, its a world for those above. Top heavy structure with you selling your sole and energy to them for little in return unless your male and a fee earner. No pay for extra hours its an expectation, I would never recommend a company like this to anyone. Hard to believe these methods are so common at a company in the modern working life.

Pros

The KF name carries some weights in the industry, it's recognisable (within the UK) many networking events to meet colleagues outside of your immediate work circle

Cons

- very political environment, people spend more time stroking one another's ego at meetings rather than doing what is important for their roles - the company spent money on lavish things such as sponsorship for some olympic skiers to get press, but doesn't pay well for employees, bonuses are discretionary and at the mercy of your line manager - lack diversity, the people who are able to move up the ladder are the same type of white English men mostly. - the team i was in had a mix of brown noses and genuinely hard working people. Unfortunately because of the manager himself was a brown nose, therefore the other brownnoses were rewarded and put in charge of everyone else.

Pros

There are some good people within and the brand is strong.

Cons

Very old boys club, if you have an issue, YOU are the issue. All of the outwardly facing concern for mental health and the company values are lip service, it's a very negative environment beneath the surface. Management and HR are only concerned with themselves, as long as the money is coming in they don't care about you. Some really bad eggs within who are dangerous for the entire business. Unsurprising there is so much turnover of staff.
