Pros

Local and easy transportation to and from, by metro bus.

Cons

Alot of issues such as maintenance and fixtures, computers were too old to properly perform during transactions, causing alot of customer dissatisfaction. Inventory storage was unorganized due to space.

Pros

Flexible schedule. Friendly co-workers. Light workload. Easy to master the POS system. Customers are generally decent, and management backs you up if they step out of line.

Cons

Extremely poor communication company wide. Huge changes (such as the store staying open an hour later) will be posted on the bulletin board, and that's it. Nearly impossible to move up in the company, raises are basically out of the question. No full time positions available (they are already taken by the 20+ year veterans). Upper management (beyond store level) is a waste of space, with nothing helpful or positive to say EVER, and I'm certain they suck up a huge share of the meager company profits.

Pros

They are closer to home, less miles to drive. Good if you are going to school or retired and want to work minimal hours.

Cons

The pay & raises very poor. Recognition for a job well done - not much. They want you to perform customer service, but do not provide hours or employees to do a good. They do not hold associates accountable for when they are not performing their daily duties. They push the associates that perform and let the ones that do not perform get away with it and they make the same money. The management (not in stores) do not know what it takes to run a store. They make all the money and we do all the physical work.
