The employees are all pretty friendly

Cons

Kmart management blows. The corporate office is operated by a bunch of idiots. They want to save money, so they cut payroll down to an absolute minimum which will only hurt sales and slow down daily operations. They want to save money but then they waste all this money on all these stupid ad signs that are a total waste. They have no idea how a store works and I feel like most if not all stores will close in the next year or two.

Where should I start. Went onto the floor my first day with no experience at all, overtime, I had to learn what to do. Supposed to work ONE department, instead on days, i'm in every single hardlines department and getting the carts off the parking lot, since there will be only 1 or 2 men in the store at closing. You're not getting extra pay for this. District Manager and Corporate visit often, make no effort to talk to the employees, just criticize how the store is recovered. Dont expect a pay raise

Cons

Can be VERY slow at times. Work become easy some days, which in return makes time drag and seem slow. Angry Customers from time to time. (but that's anywhere you work)
