Pros

Were a small family. We all get along great, talk to each other with respect. Flexible hours to get me by. My manager has been with the company for 30+ years and does a swell job. My customers are, well, okay at most times. My store has given ample opportunity for me to succeed, I was moved up to Front End Supervisor and backup Pharmacy Tech after 5 short months.. I enjoy going to work, I've met some great people.

Cons

Sometimes management has so little communication i get mad enough I'd rather be unemployed. No raises. When state minimum wage went up, everyone stayed the same wage so now as a supervisor im stuck with crap drama for the wage of a cashier. No full time positions until a lead dies or retires, most leads have been there 30+ years. The amount of pushing for credit cards is a little bad but I deal with it.

Pros

When you need time off (when done in advance, and by their standards) you will get the certain days you need off.

Cons

The registers are incredibly obsolete, you need a managers help with technical issues like voids most of the time, half of the items don't ring up as their sale prices, old sale signs are up WAY after they have ended, there was no AIR CONDITIONING!!! Also as a cashier you have to get AT LEAST 75% of your customers to have the rewards card, which is indicated by an arrow on your register. 75% and up is green, below 75% is red, and after a certain percentage after green, the arrow turns gold. I had a red arrow everyday that I was employed. You need an email to sign up for the rewards program and most customers that came into the store were old people who didn't know what email was so I wasn't able to sign them up at the register for the rewards program. And when I received a red arrow, the front end manager would be incredibly rude saying that the corporate goal is to get at least 75% of customers to be in the rewards program and that there is no excuse for not getting a green arrow.

Pros

If you absolutely need a job and you're young and ambitious, this might be a place for you.

Cons

--- Your life revolves around your work. You will work 60+ hours every week, every holiday. --- Salary freeze, what you make when you start is what you make when you leave. --- Company is in rough waters, Upper management will criticize anything you do because of that.
