I loved the families and children I cared for.

Cons

Horrible upper management! My director would be so upset because her "boss" would tell her at business meetings she needs to shave her eyebrows better and even would allow teachers to call the children "niggas". My building had a 9 teacher walk out within two days because of new upper management.

You were able to wear jeans, and knowing you were helping the children.

Cons

The director talks about the kids,staff and parents. Does not care about the staff just numbers, you never leave on time ,I worked 630 to 330 but never got out at on time, was told that I had to stay no matter what. You have no support from management unless you are their favorite,

Most Employees are close knit and act like family. Management works well with you for days you may need off or scheduling for other things in life.

Cons

Low pay, treated as if you are "replaceable" and actually told so.
