Pros

Good amount of time off. Compensation is fair.

Cons

Falling behind on all fronts, from health insurance to product offerings. Constant layoffs. Grows by acquisition, not innovation. Little to no training offered.

Pros

Good benefits - medical, dental, vision, 401k, legal services Walking distance from Citywalk

Cons

Very poor communication among departments and between companies under the Kantar umbrella. A big issue I ran into was that Millward Brown would market specific methods/services to Added Value as established practices, but our MB colleagues would tell us that the work was new. NO TRAINING - it is understandable that a project manager would need to know how to run market research studies, but the company uses multiple systems and provides no training on using the system. A lot of employees are confused about business rules and typical procedure. It leads to a lot of issues when working with other teams. Very inefficient - there are a lot of meetings that seem unnecessary, and the way the company is structured makes the process of running a project take longer. Lack of guidance for new employees. Employees are expected to find the answers themselves or ask questions, but employees who had been with the company some time appeared to be annoyed when asked questions.

Pros

There are no pros about this company.

Cons

Their recruiter reached out to me multiple times before starting here. She followed up several times saying that I would be a great fit for the company and how badly they wanted me here. Never even thought about going to this company or applied here in the first place. After some time, I found out that they don't care about their employees. They do not provide any training for employees and do not provide resources towards employee development. They expect you to hit the ground running without any guidance. They are extremely disorganized - it is not clear what teams you need to reach out to in order to get projects done. There is no set procedures on how to get certain tasks done. There is a lot of re-work on projects because there is no set clear expectations on what needs to be done. Their HR, IT and their accounting department are automated - good luck getting help with any of these aspects. I had troubles for weeks getting IT issues sorted out, which actually obstructed my ability to do my job well. HR was not very helpful in terms of comprehensive services offered. They are not open to ideas on how to improve overall processes in order to become more efficient. They are clearly stuck in their ways - I've seen too many employees staying an insane amount of overtime due to inefficiencies. Hearing about how employees typically leave after 1-2 years tells me that there is an extremely high turnover rate at this company and that employees are unhappy. It also looks like they have a plan to outsource even more functions overseas, thus dragging things out even more and making it that much more painful for onshore staff. Just like most MR companies - they treat people like robots. Avoid this company!
