The working environment is second to none. Most all employees are welcoming and friendly. Many opportunities exist for personal growth -- take them.

Cons

The city of Manhattan, KS can seem a bit small and bland at times. Compensation remains below average for other Big 12 schools.

The town is a great place to live, and the work environment is very friendly. The degree of job stability is high, you are unlikely to be let go on a whim.

Cons

Too remote from major cities so you have to be a small town sort of person to live there permanently. This is a very big big downside if you are from a very large metropolitan area.
