I had a great experience at my department as a graduate student. Great department head, major advisor and a multi-cultural research group! The International Students and Scholar Services (ISSS) department at K-State is a great resource for all problems and activities of international students. K-State offers several leadership and participation opportunities for graduate students. The funding situation and research endeavors are improving with the K-State 2025 plan. Great culture, students, staff and faculty are friendly and helpful!

Cons

Career fairs and Career & Employment Services are more geared towards undergraduate placement. There are fewer opportunities for graduate students, especially international. The university must do something about this situation if they want to continue recruiting students from other countries.

Great campus. Good school overall. Offices are good on average. Friendly atmosphere all in all.

Cons

Perhaps same as everywhere and varies from department to department and adviser to adviser. Nothing particular to school.
