Pros

Cheap make up, potential, buzzy environment with nice customers....good store experience for fans and they have so much product ranges

Cons

Shocking senior management, no clear direction, people badly treated, talent wasted, no structure, no help when staff complain. Racists, sexists and bullying all happens in this environment.

Pros

- You learn a lot about their products if you read their announcements. - For someone who doesn't know about cosmetics, great place to start learning. - No bathroom breaks when you're working alone.

Cons

- It's Retail. - They don't have a specific training program. - Odd hours. - A lot of new collections = a lot of work in order to display these collections.

Kiko changed my life

Pros

I am not sure where to begin with listing my pros for working for Kiko. Having come from another cosmetics retail job, i was able to notice the difference right away. At first i was hesitant, being that Kiko wasn't/is not extremely well known in the U.S. i myself was not even familiar with the brand. But after seeing the store, and the product, i was almost instantly hooked. The quality of the product is amazing for the price that it costs. The store looks like a candy land for makeup, with tons of color, textures, and different products for every need. Being able to become employed with Kiko made me so excited, and still does everyday that i wake up and go into work. i am able to learn things everyday, that i would not have the opportunity to had i stayed in another brand. Not only do they train you with product knowledge, which is a given yes with most brands, but they train you with knowledge on how to personally succeed. Sales techniques and customer service are two factors that are so important to the company, which really gives you an understanding of the brand and culture. They don't necessarily give you gratis, but that isn't a concern with how many other incentives they DO give you! We receive commission, which is extremely motivating, to sell more. also, they have internal monthly contests within the company, both within the nation and global. the friendly competitions really creates an amazing energy in the store. We also get employee discount of 20% that we can use every day, and 40% once a month. This discount mixed with the already low prices almost makes them free! The brand is constantly expanding here in the U.S., which means endless amounts of opportunities. They bring you to set up and open stores from scratch! And i don't mean just doing a grand opening. We actually receive the products and the layout pieces, build the schematics, team build in the process. It's like creating your new home. All of these elements combined really make Kiko a one of a kind brand to represent and work for. Coming to work everyday does not even feel like work at times. They really push you to bring out your best self, with the ability to express yourself through makeup, dress, and people skills. I am so excited to see what the future holds for me here.

Cons

The only con i will say is that i was previously not familiar with visual changes, and Kiko constantly changes the store to stay on trend. But this is something i am learning better and expanding my skills in!
