Pros

There is quite literally NO pros as to working with this company. I would state that at Christmas time you get 50% discount but the makeup is that terrible quality I wouldn’t even count that as a pro.

Cons

I’d like to start this off with, I saw someone else’s review and their advice was “I’m over it” and honestly, SAME. Where do I start. The company is a complete mess sis. Lets start off with the fact it’s a makeup job, yet literally no one in the company (maybe sales advisors yes) have a clue about makeup or how to do it - NICELY. The ‘Store Trainer’ is a complete bully who belittles anyone he feels doesn’t make enough sales. This company ENCOURAGES A BULLYING WORK ETHIC. You get sales, you’re friends with management? You’re grand. You’re not friends with management and perhaps need more training (that is never provided) you’re bullied into leaving. THIS COMPANY IS A COMPANY FULL OF LIARS. FULL-TIME WORK FOR SALES ADVISORS IS NOT A POSSIBILITY IN THIS COMPANY. They hand out the smallest contracts possible to cover themselves whilst giving out full-time hours, less holiday pay, sick pay, store bonus etc. Management are literally the biggest JOKE, do absolutely NOTHING yet scream at sales advisors constantly that they are not good enough if the figures aren’t perfect. And when they are there is still no praise you are just “doing your job”. This company has no interest in real talent or how the brand looks they purely want money and only money. Don’t expect to make long-lasting work friends as NO ONE stays in the company longer than a year. Management constantly threaten people with their jobs and do not follow LEGAL WORK PROCEDURES. KIKO sets extremely strict rules such as being late 3 times and you are eligible for immediate dismissal. Do not work for this company as they will not care about you or your well-being, WILL effect your mental health and will put you out as soon as they deem you useless.

Pros

You literally don't do nothing all day, easy money.

Cons

- no growth - be prepared to work shifts by yourself - if there's a flaw they don't like about you they'll write you up until you're out - no gratis - their products are crap, they know a product sucks but will try to lure you in with winning a price at the end of the month for top seller - only way to grow is if you mess around with the owner, hence why the current area manager is where she is today - a product can be $18 one day & $2 the next

Pros

At the start KIKO was very new in the Uk had the trainer come to store every month to train and motivate the team with regular area manager visits with a great atmosphere within the company and had amazing career prospects with everyone having the same goal

Cons

staff turn over in this company is a awful most staff are lucky if the stay a year and higher management are happy to fire staff if they just don't like them Training is nonexistent and are expected to train team by reading a hand out all they care about is the amount stores they are opening not on the stores they already have higher management have no clue what direction the company is going and it's not clear company wide good members of staff have left or have bee pushed out due to higher management putting unbearable pressure on staff
