Pros

Better pay compared to other cosmetics companies E.g MAC. Wonderful mix of employees, E.G not everyone is Italian or Polish They truly ENCOURAGE you to be yourself with your makeup and clothing.

Cons

Working 6 days in a row is a possibility. 800+ stores worldwide yet flagship is an absolute SHAMBLES. Promise makeup artists a particular rota then completely ignore it! Terrible recruitment of Sales associates/assistants. They expect you to meet the targets yet are out of stock on 50% of products! So they clearly think target will be met by the help of heavenly angels. Absolutely NO pension?? I'm pretty sure that's illegal in the UK. Unorganised. Seriously. Stockroom is so unorganised The floor changes WAY too often so you end up missing sales because you cannot find ANYTHING. And what is the point of store iPads that don't do anything?? Add wifi! Encourage the use of social media that's where your customers are!!

Pros

Pay was decent, had some lovely coworkers.

Cons

Expected to be EXTREMELY pushy with customers, management was very cliquey, no product training, no work/life balance (even though I was part time I was expected to work near full time hours), no benefits (management never let us use our discount).

Pros

There aren't any. the company is a complete checkmate while ever the current director is there. They lack direction and focus and consistently devalue the brand for quick sales. There is non existent product training and the add on sales are based on someone's mistake rather than real add ons which means they're generally not a great buy and difficult to sell... they will hold you accountable for their error of judgement. They false promise promotions to over work staff and will say what they feel like at the time.

Cons

Pay, ethos, devaluation of brand, lack of communication
