Pros

Great colleagues who were very supportive

Cons

Management were next to useless. They didn't have a clue what they were doing. Also expected partners to work accross departments so no one would have specialist knowledge that was needed in EHT. Got sacked for having too much time off for Depression and Anxiety despite returning to work feeling better than I had in years. They also fiddled my time sheets so when I left I lost almost £1000 that I should have been paid. Don't be ill for more than a couple of days a year or you are out. They do not support partners with mental health issues the just persecute them.

Pros

The Partnership ethos is still barely alive at non-management-partner level

Cons

The board tried to turn us into Tesco, forsaking all of the principles that made JLP successful in the first place. We do not need to grow, we do not need to move into new markets, all we need to do is provide excellent service for our existing customers and the business will sustain itself.
