Huge disappointment

Pros

Flying benefits (if you don't mind flying standby).

Cons

Salary below market average Only 4 paid holidays (4th July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Years Eve). Hard to accrue PTO, unless you have more than 5 years with the company. Old technology. There is no budget for new software or hardware. Crowded, loud office space. No paid maternity leave, unless you had signed up for short term disability. Poor health plan. Annual evaluation based on goals that are not connected to your actual projects. Due to budgetary constraints, employees are "encouraged" to take day trips between the main offices, which usually means arriving at the airport at 5AM, working an 8-hour day and coming back on a late flight, arriving home around 11PM.

Not for everyone

Pros

when you work for any airline you get wonderful travel benefits. JetBlue has some of the best out there. The crews you work with are wonderful and you're always getting the chance to see new places.

Cons

The company seems to care more about the customer than the safety and well being of the crew members. Can be very stressful and even though they promise flexible hours it's nearly impossible to change your schedule once it's been assigned to you.

Pros

Really None other then the flight benefits

Cons

Teamwork sucked JFK Airport Pay was a joke for the kinda work you do Can't accept tips there's always someone watching and it's their policy that you can't there are no bonuses there is no rehiring policy so if you get fired you cannot come back ever upper management at Long Island City are just a bunch of pushovers current and former crew member's. are treated like crap
