Pros

Amazing crews, great layovers, great travel benefits, overall the job is extremely fun, it does not feel like work

Cons

Until you meet management. Terrible management. You can be overworked or they can abuse your worker rights if you don't know the company policy, leading to longer work hours or work days even. Honestly if management was just better, meaning no shadiness, no vague responses to real company issues, no favoritism or targeting CMs (crew) because of petty issues, then Jetblue would be PERFECT!

Pros

Flight benefits, flexible schedule, opportunity for internal transfers to different cities.

Cons

No union, rare overtime and run around rules in which employees can work well over 40 without overtime pay. Being forced to stay late everyday because of staffing... shadyness, from personal experience erasing personal emails i sent from a company email address in a cover up in which i was attempted to be fired before 5 years and becoming fully vested in my 401k. Not the only one with a similar story, at least in JFK... No sick days, yeah cool when the jobs requires you to work outside in freezing conditions lol, instead we are given a point system with a little room to wiggle but yeah half of the winter is blacked out now started 2016 so we are welcomed to get double points God forbid we get sick the middle of flu season lmao. Great company to customers, questionable to employees.

Pros

Flight benefits are the best reason to work here. Their system is the best and fairest in the industry, standby's are cleared by check in time and not by seniority like the big airlines. Healthcare is okay it becomes expensive if you have chronic health problems or need to add your family members. Profit sharing, 401k are good.

Cons

Blatant favoritism sups and managers hired their friends and protected them from p.g.'s loc's etc. Good news though is that new hires are getting promoted fast as the seniors are so disgruntled they are not applying for anything. Mandatory overtime is almost an everyday occurrence in the summer(busiest season). Expect it as well during bad weather (b6 does not handle irops well).
