Pros

Jet.com isn't as bad as i've heard amazon is to work for, but then again at amazon there is a likely chance the company will still be in business a year from now.

Cons

Will literally work you to death. Sure, they offer unlimited PTO just so long as you are on track with all your work and everything is getting done that needs to . . . but they pile on so much work with unrealistic expectations you'll never get to use it. And don't even think about getting the resources you need to complete the task at hand. The transparent salary levels are a farce. It doesn't make anything more fair it just changes the dynamics so instead of finding out someone else is making X and you're only making Y and being unhappy about it, you can see very clearly that someone else is mapped to level X and you're only mapped to level Y even though you do all the work and they are a moron.

Thanks for the real feedback, this is not how we want any employee to feel. We all spend so much time at work we need to make sure it fulfills each of us. We obviously believe we will be here for many, many years to come and we try to be transparent with the plan so that you see that path as well... clearly we need to do better. In addition, work-life balance is something we take seriously and is needed to achieve our long-term vision. Employee happiness is a top priority, the last thing we want is for people to burnout. If you've already spoken to your manager and feel that you can't take the time off that you need, please reach out to me or your talent rep. As for our levels and transparency around salaries, Jet is doing things differently – I don’t know of another company that publishes salary information the way we do. Usually employees are kept in the dark and there are all sorts of unfair decisions made behind the scenes. Being transparent, especially when it comes to salaries, isn’t easy, but my goal is for everyone to be treated fairly at all levels. If you feel you've been leveled incorrectly, please connect with your manager, talent rep. or even me directly so we can talk openly about it. - Marc Lore, CEO

Pros

- Great environment - Good pay - Healty Culture

Cons

- It's customer service - Unrealistic expectations for attendance (if you're 1 minute late it's considered an occurrence) - God forbid you have an emergency, as it will also count as an occurrence - They micro manage your work and constantly compare your performance if they feel you're not on par with everyone else - Disorganized. There is little to no communication between departments which results in a constant back and forth. - Advancement is based on favoritism - They terminate employees how you take out trash that has a leak in it - High school level drama at times The bad outweighed the good --which ultimately led to my decision to leave.

Thanks for taking the time to write your feedback. You're right, we don't just want to be another "call center '. Sorry to hear about your experience. We do want people to manage their own PTO and minimize formal warnings for attendance and know this has been a big sticky point we're fixing. Feedback like this helps us strive to make things better for everyone, hope the good outweighs the bad at your next job. We'll pass along your comments to SLC. - Doug D. VP Member Services

Pros

Awesome people, culture. You can find a work like balance. Having PTO right off the bat and then benefits are getting better.

Cons

Not sure if there is still room for growth and how long it takes to get to a different department. Also no structure of raises, which is something they need.

Awesome companies are made by awesome people! Happy to have you as part of the team. Being 7 months old, we haven't flushed everything out yet. We are working on putting in place some guidelines on what it takes to move to the next level. If you are interested in growing with Jet, discuss this during your regular one-on-one's with your supervisor. Thanks for the feedback. - Maggie K., Dir Talent Business Partners
