Generous pay and benefits, including summer Fridays

Cons

Most of the people who work there have been there for ages and don't recognize that there is any other way to do things other than the J&J way. Diversity in thinking and working is not welcome. Company claims to be a relationship-based culture, but it is VERY, VERY political.

Good benefits, good pay, challenging work

Cons

Too conservative. It takes forever to do simple things. Level of complexity is magnified by the decentralized nature of the business and lack of cohesive vision. Overly tight budgets results in an inability to provide sufficient staffing while at the same time trying to be all things to all people.

Janssen offers decent salary and benefits, makes an effort to provide ethical behavior in their drug development.

Cons

Fails to reward existing employees. Many employees leave elsewhere because they don't feel valued and it ends up costing a lot of money and resources to replace them, disrupts and delays the work flow and puts burden on other employees.
