Worst place to work in field of IT Application Development.
Pros
If you have been hopping jobs before and coming with good package already, you can negotiate good raise. You just need to work on 9-5 job and Saturdays Sundays are always off. No or little work pressure.
Cons
You will be hired after a tough interview, promised of good work and will make you sit on an old technology software maintenance. You will find and already demotivated and frustrated team to work with. They will see you with curious eyes as you will be the one they are able to hire after one and half year of never ending interview cycles. Chaos in the HR department, they often schedule your induction program 1-2 week after your joining and no one comes on time to give you the introduction of their department. IT applications team is guided by a leader that will tell you on your face in his stand up meetings that he doesn’t need application developers and he hates code altogether. He just loves more of Business and Test team in his team. Even if you feel like leaving the organization in first 10 days of your joining, you need to serve 3 months’ notice period to leave them legally. I was almost forced to abscond from organization because of this reason. On the other hand, if you love to get a job with fewer responsibilities, easy work and good pay, this is the place for you to be in.
