Pros

- Large company with many areas of specialization in market research.

Cons

- Was offered a 1 year analyst training opportunity after finishing college. They wanted to pay 35K in Chicago. That would be impossible to live on.

There is no record of such an offer. We do not offer any positions at this level of salary, neither in Chicago nor anywhere in the US. Starting salaries may vary slightly depending on the city, the role and the background but they are industry competitive.

Pros

- Average benefits, but very generous PTO and number of Company holidays - Great place to start out if you are interested in Market Research

Cons

- In general, Ipsos is very slow to adapt to changes in the marketplace - Upper Management treats employees as commodities, resulting in poor work/life balance and high turnover - Very cheap company (i.e. prepare to be underpaid, overworked, and supplied with stone age equipment)

Nice benefits, lousy pay and no job security

Pros

Health care benefits were nice with Cigna, 100% coverage after you reach your deductible which wasn't higher than $2000 for the year depending on number of dependents. People were nice! Company provided breakfast every Friday as well as provided quarterly social get together usually in the office for food and refreshments.

Cons

Upper management doesn't care about it's employees. Rarely would you have a bonus going to someone under Middle management. Limit career growth potential in many groups. Salary is below industry median for many jobs. Most jobs are moving offshore to Romania or India, and because of this quality has suffered. The atmosphere is very, VERY politically motivated.
