Pros

Smart researchers and good people.

Cons

The company lost its way , it would not invest in employee development and focused solely on bottom line results. Ipsos is "stuck" in traditional research and does not invest the technology to move the company forward.

Pros

The people are great. Really smart, hard working and fun.

Cons

So many BUs are so severely understaffed it would be laughable if it didn't make you want to cry. After the Synovate acquisition, so many positions were cut. And because of the incredible disorganization and poor morale that time, even more people left willingly. Open positions were not filled (and still rarely are) due to a poor financial outlook - "do more with less" is the mantra. So now they've all got skeleton crews, doing the work of a fully staffed BU - extremely long hours, extremely high expectations, people doing crossover work that they aren't necessarily qualified to do, and no recognition or reward - even in the form of some time off. It's just sad.

Pros

- Peers are great to work with - People really want to do a good job for customers - Pretty good culture, not too stiff

Cons

- Pay is below industry competitors and local competitors - Really behind the times on 'the perks' for a company that preaches 'innovative and forward-thinking' - Going the extra mile is not recognized; the complainers get the raises- not the producers - really bad for morale
