Bad Culture - Bad Management

Pros

Benefits are good - that's really all that is good here.

Cons

No accountability in management. Employees are always getting cut, never anyone in management. No training for managers. CEO's incessant push for profits has pushed people too far. No work/life balance anymore. No one cares about the employees.

Pros

Fun people surprisingly, considering all the cons. Lots of fun happy hour discussion about all the cons. See below for details.

Cons

This is the worst company I have ever worked for in 15 years. There is a revolving door in San Diego and in the past year they have lost the equivalent 150 years of trained talent. Multiple people leave every week. Do you want to be stressed out and work over an 8 hour day every day, without compensation? Join Intertek. Do you want to end up in the hospital with anxiety attacks? Join Intertek. Do you want to get yelled at by clients and your managers for situations that are no fault of your own? Join Intertek. Stay away from this mess of a "company" at all costs. Oh, and if you are a potential client, be warned because every timeline will be delayed and the quality of work will be abysmal.

Pros

If you're willing to work really hard and put in the extra hours you can do well here. There are a lot of good people who work there.

Cons

There are too many managers who delegate all the work to those who are paid far less. If you are well-liked by certain upper management then you will get promoted whether you're competent or not. The work load is overwhelming for the "regular" employees and management doesn't know how to step in and "lead" a team to success.
