Pros

Working at Interblock was a really good experience. The projects were unique and it was exciting to be part of a company that continued to grow and evolve. The people I worked with were supportive and collaborative. Overall, it was a great place to build experience and be part of an innovative industry.

Cons

At the company, you work closely with leadership, which gave me opportunities for growth and presenting new ideas. For someone who prefers to fly under the radar, this might not be the best fit.

Pros

Interesting and challenging work, I learned a lot about manufacturing accounting.

Cons

Turnover is very high and not communicated company wide. People just leave and you have to learn about it from fellow employees.

Pros

Shared Stockholm Syndrome with some great people

Cons

Over the past few years, it's become apparent that the company has faced a marked decline in how they conduct their internal operations. I couldn't, in good conscience, recommend anyone to work there. This is particularly true when you consider that the company's current success is not thanks to the CEO and executive team's leadership, but rather in spite of it. The company culture has significantly eroded, with little to no recognition for the hardworking employees. It seemed like everyone, all because of the CEO and executive team, was viewed as expendable if it meant saving a penny. Moreover, there was a notable lack of communication or direction, leaving employees in the dark about the standards that needed to be met. This ambiguity created a hostile and uncertain work environment, making it even more challenging to thrive within the company. To make matters worse, employees were often chastised for not meeting standards they were completely unaware of. This added layer of confusion and frustration only compounded the sense of being trapped in an unhealthy work situation. Departing from the organization felt like escaping an abusive relationship while navigating a labyrinth of unknown expectations. The only viable path for career advancement was to leave the organization. This company has a way of sapping your mental, physical, and emotional well-being, only to then inquire, "What have you done for me today?"
