Pros

I learned how to work really hard considering you have to be in the office no later than 7:30 am and are not allowed to leave until 5 pm, but only are paid for 8 hours.

Cons

Insight Global does not run a proper business. As a recruiter you must answer all of the phone calls on the first ring and figure out how to solve whatever problem the person that called in has. You must bring contractors in for interviews, even if you are not planning on hiring them so that you can meet your "numbers" for the week. Everyone is dating everyone. You get 10 days of PTO a year and not many holidays. You have to work the day after Christmas and the day after Thanksgiving. In order to be promoted, you do not have to be good at your job. All you have to do is suck up to upper management. You have to do your hair and wear makeup to the job even if you are not seeing any clients. You have to wear heels to the 8 am company meeting that only employees of Insight Global attend. If you are not attractive or you are old, you will not be hired. This company is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Pros

Made friends with the people I worked with, although turnover was so high that all of us had left before the year was over, in about 9 months

Cons

Extremely high stress environment with an unproductive amount of micromanaging and cliquiness. The environment is like t a nightmare from high school. Management hires the same exact type of person and pegs everyone against each other. They are continuously changing what they want from you and there is little to no legit training other than instilling fear in the recruiters. The have unrealistic quotas to hit each week, so everyone lies on their numbers. The ethics of the company is beyond corrupt. Lying to candidates about positions they have open, keeping insane percentages of contractors salaries to make more money for themselves, everyone internally lying about their numbers they've hit, and many more ethically messed up things. Would never recommend anyone to work in any of the offices, but if you do, you will surely realize you want to leave in around 6 months. Absolutely no PTO even when I had a death in the family I was terrified to take off. Horrible benefits, and they make the women wear heels ever single day.

Pros

There really weren’t any. But I see why kids right out of college enjoy this place so much. I will say that I enjoyed the people that I worked with there.

Cons

The pay sucked. Micro managing. They make you get “pumped up” in the morning by yelling and acting ridiculous and I just wasn’t into that at all. I once got pulled aside after our morning meeting because I wasn’t “yelling loud enough” and my boss made me scream in the office to “practice” and get my voice working. I think that next day I ended up quitting. I’m there to work, not to act like I’m in college Greek life. Anyway, the job itself sucks if you’re a recruiter. On the phones all day bothering people about jobs that you don’t know anything about. So you’re really just sounding like a complete idiot on the phone 99% of the time. The people you’re calling usually aren’t happy when you call and bother them constantly about jobs. High turnover rate. I only worked there for a month and saw so many people quit. And even now I still hear of people quitting constantly and I know most of the people I worked there with aren’t employed there anymore because they realized how awful it was. Poor training process. They “train” you for 3 days and then you’re on your own. I wouldn’t even call it training because you just sit and shadow someone and it’s not helpful at all and extremely boring. I could keep going on but I think you get the point.
