Business Development has great people working here. We are left alone to do our work for the most part. Certain autonomy to run your business is granted as long as it falls in certain parameters.

Cons

In Business Development, once management has set their mind about you/your work ethic, they will micromanage you despite your efforts to show improvement.

Company has clear idea of what it wants to accomplish - management has clearly communicated this vision to rank and file. Solid pay and pretty good benefits.

Cons

Company was purchased by last year (and went private) and has utilized consulting organization(s) to assist in defining sales territories - this effort has not gone smoothly.
