Obviously, there was not a good fit between you and Informatica. Your blanket comments, however, do not give us any opportunity to respond. What can one say to, "Yuck"? "Am not"? :-/ Let's just leave it at the fact that Informatica has 4 out of 5 stars overall on Glassdoor from our employees, and similarly stellar ratings for all categories such as Senior Management, Work/Life Balance, Culture & Values, etc. And we are rated as a Leader in six enterprise data categories by Gartner, and also lauded by Forrester. Plus we just won top honors for customer service for the eleventh year in a row. We hope you find some place more aligned with your point of view.

Pros

Great products and superb field technical support

Cons

Worst sales mgt I have worked under in 20 years. Never trust compensation plan. No ethics at all levels of sales management. Treat top performers with dishonesty. I would never recommend anyone in field sales to work there.

We regret that you have a negative view of your time with Informatica in Sales. As you know, the Company went through significant changes in 2015, some that specifically affected Sales. Those moves were designed to make Informatica more responsive to the market as well as more competitive. Compensation has been designed to attract and retain top talent (otherwise, we wouldn’t be as successful as we are), and the Company shortly will announce a revised plan to make Sales opportunities here even more appealing. We wish you well in your future endeavors.

Thank you for your post. We regret that you were impacted by the restructuring. Informatica is not closing all of our offices in Russia, however you are correct that we have notified the team in St. Petersburg this week that we will be closing that office down at the end of the year. We have done our best to offer generous packages to those who were impacted, including financial and career transition support as well as a long notice period of the pending change. We also offered employees the opportunity to relocate to one of our other development sites, though I appreciate that not everyone would want to move to the US, Canada or Ireland. The decision was a difficult one, but is a result of the company’s rapid organic growth and inorganic expansion, with more global sites than we could efficiently manage. Hence, the difficult decision to make this change. We wish you well in your future career endeavors – please let any one of the HR team know if we can help with anything during your transition or in the future. Thank you for your time with, and contribution to, Informatica.
