We regret that you have a negative view of your time with Informatica in Sales. As you know, the Company went through significant changes in 2015, some that specifically affected Sales. Those moves were designed to make Informatica more responsive to the market as well as more competitive. Compensation has been designed to attract and retain top talent (otherwise, we wouldn’t be as successful as we are), and the Company shortly will announce a revised plan to make Sales opportunities here even more appealing. We wish you well in your future endeavors.

Thank you for your post. We regret that you were impacted by the restructuring. Informatica is not closing all of our offices in Russia, however you are correct that we have notified the team in St. Petersburg this week that we will be closing that office down at the end of the year. We have done our best to offer generous packages to those who were impacted, including financial and career transition support as well as a long notice period of the pending change. We also offered employees the opportunity to relocate to one of our other development sites, though I appreciate that not everyone would want to move to the US, Canada or Ireland. The decision was a difficult one, but is a result of the company’s rapid organic growth and inorganic expansion, with more global sites than we could efficiently manage. Hence, the difficult decision to make this change.
