Pros

Home working is the norm, good when things go well. Reasonable benefits. Expanding and changing company with many opportunities. Infor does not micro manage and lets you get the job done in your own way, you need to be self motivated but get the freedom to perform in your own way.

Cons

Meeting colleges when working from home. No staff get together. When things dont work or fit in the Infor way its really hard to get resolved. Benefits could be a little better. Infor is a changing company which can be disconcerting for many. If you expect day to day direction not for you.

Pros

Very exciting and progressive product set. The work and clients are very exciting. Hard work is ultimately rewarded.

Cons

Although challenging the company is too sales focused. Sales teams are entertained by management and trained on new products to sell, however consultants are often playing catch-up and having to learn the new products in their own time OR they're left attempting to implement products that aren't ready for sale.. Although home-based, it is frowned upon to organise meetings with my colleagues to knowledge share etc. We can only do that if we can justify it as a client meeting. Reasonable salary, however company appears to be wanting to save money by making the staff travel policies very unpleasant (i.e. travel in our own time, but only off airport parking will be accepted), BYOD for mobile, but we don't get any cut price insurance/upgrades and calls need itemising in our own time.

Not the best place to work

Pros

Possibility to work from home when needed

Cons

- lack of organization from all points of view: HR, management, no procedures, no strategies, poor communication between departments - no evaluations for making the difference between good employees and those less prepared - no feedback from direct manager - people who are hard-working will be pushed even harder - no recognition, no promotions - when it comes to salary raise you will received the minimum percentage - no retention plan of employees, they're not even asked why they've decided to leave the company
