Pros

Easy to get time off, ability to work at home and telecommute, mostly good people who are trying to make a difference and improve the software projects they are given.

Cons

No personal growth path, management is only concerned with sales, so they reward salesmen and dont reward the software support staff. Revolving door attitude, and many experienced people leave after being with Infor for a few years. Software is buggy and very poorly architected, thus end up doing software malfunction patch over patch without determining the root cause of the problem.

Pros

The pay was good and due to the company killing their software brands the sales department wasn't too active - plenty of time for golf.

Cons

The company isn't interested in satisfied customers or building great software solutions. Aquisition strategy makes everyday another instance of guessing if you'll have a job tomorrow.

Pros

Some of the best software engineers and architects i have met. Many of these have already left or might be leaving soon.

Cons

Pretty old technologies being used. There is no concept of a career path at Infor. Titles are distributed randomly to people who have been just sticking to their jobs. Managers are very much micro-managing everything. Raises and performance reviews do not happen at all. Recent reorganisation has led to departure of lot of key people. Most of the development now involves just patching old applications which have been poorly designed in terms of architecture and scalability. Usage of very old technologies is failing to attract new people. The oldies who are manager just for the name of it are very conservative and do not want to experiment with new technology. This makes things quite depressing and frustrating.
