Pros

Well at lease they have us one week to decide to go to work for a non-US company with a bad history of layoff acquired workers.

Cons

Infor Global Solutions, 13560 Morris Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30004 has told 300+ of it employees that they no longer have jobs with Infor. They have been give one week to decide to accept a job with an India's HCL company. They are being told that they have that one week to use any FSA money they have or lose it. If they do not want to go to work for an Indian company they are being offer nothing. They even loose any PTO time over 40 hours that they have and will not be paid for it even though they are only being give one week to make this decision. HCL has a history (See Xerox and Nokia) of only keeping the transferred employees around at their current level until they can have other trained to do there jobs. Infor is treating it employees like they are a possession of the company and they are sell they to someone else!

Pros

Good top-level approach to consolidating multiple legacy product loines and integrating them with current technology. They have been able to retain high-ability staff in many of the acquired companies.

Cons

Far too much dis-aggregation at working level. Local loyalties only, and very low employee understanding of group objectives. No-one can identify all the group's components, or say what overall development priorities are, or understand how their own area relates to other product areas. Missing out on huge opportunities to cross-sell and build real solutions that can challenge SAP/Oracle (which have grown through similar processes but have a much closer integration of product-marketing)

Pros

Not many. Work from home option is the ONLY perk

Cons

Pay is terrible, no raise or bonuses even after 5 or 6 years of employment. Promotions only mean a title change, no pay increase. Can do what they want to your job and future whenever THEY want. Have absolutely no concern or compassion for any entry level employee or even employees that have been with the company for years. The bottom line is the ONLY thing that matters to the upper management. They will get rid of any employee if it makes a better bottom line. When asked why they do this the response is "at least you still have a job"
