      A company for senior consultants

      Pros

      You can manage your time fairly free. Working from home is ok if you have bookings. Nice colleagues who are helpful.

      Cons

      Very American... Management decides everything and doesn't listen to what you think. Hard to get into projects if not having senior experience. Hard to move get into other areas of interest if started off in one.

      Exciting time to be part of Infor

      Pros

      Infor has a great business model... to develop micro-industry solutions that minimize the complexity of implementing, and develop applications with modern UX, and move to the cloud. The company is the product of a lot of acquisitions over the years, but for the last couple of years has been working on a clear vision, building a consistent culture, and investing heavily in hiring, training, and building the business. The leadership team came in with the knowledge from a large enterprise company and had the opportunity to start with a clean sheet and do things differently. The company is starting to gain traction and its exciting to be part of it. There are lots of opportunities because the company is growing, while many competitors are shrinking and laying people off. Compensation is competitive and medical plans are good. Everyone in the company has a bonus plan. Generous PTO / vacation for first year.

      Cons

      The 401K plan is pretty weak in terms of its match, compared to other companies. There are still a number of legacy people around still that haven't gotten on board with the new vision, but that is slowly getting better with hiring. The company is hiring executives pretty frequently so just hoping that the business grows to support it or else it could become top heavy.

      Perfect company to settle on. Work from Home option available. If you perform well, you are paid a good salary.

      Cons

      Infor does not market their products well like Oracle and SAP. So normal person may know nothing about Infor ERP systems
