Pros

Whether you are working remote or in person (when we return to office), the caliber of your coworkers is unrivaled, better yet, I’ve found Indigo to hold kindness above any other value. The new leadership team is strong, transparent, and are good partners for each other as well as individual contributors. This is a company where you will have a seat at the table if you like to work hard and self start. Folks are universally mission driven and best yet it’s becoming clear that a tech first strategy will let us realize our promise of setting farmers up for success. We are becoming more customer centric by the day and we are learning from our past mistakes at record speed.

Cons

There is still struggle to connect our brand with our products, I believe in part because our brand was built a bit ahead of arriving at our true potential impact.

Pros

Good adaptation to virtual office, good communication among immediate team.

Cons

Lots of change, always. Communication among the larger company is lacking. Favoritism. Layoffs.

Indigo making changes for the better

Pros

The company seems to have stabilized from the perspective of C-level change over and re-organization during 2020. While the process was extremely painful to go through, there is a direction for the future and resources have been optimized for success. The floodgates of employee defection seem to drawn in from a wide open position. I'm personally excited about my job for the first time in a long time.

Cons

Many of the benefits that were offered to those hired previous to 2020 have been cut. Leadership has tired to mitigate the negative repercussions of these changes, somewhat successfully, but nothing leaves employees with a bad taste like changing bonus structure and employee offerings midstream. On the bright side, Indigo seems to be more fiscally responsible, which wasn't always the case.
