Pros

Some nice people who care about the mission, who want to do good work. If you're overly friendly or a kiss-up, you'll get promoted.

Cons

More layoffs. Fourth round of layoffs I witnessed in under three years. Terrible severance package. Not flexible or accommodating for health issues. New managers that get promoted need training. Company constantly shifts and pivots and shuts down different business lines. Often felt like they were throwing things at the wall and hoping things would stick. Impossible to talk with customers/users, so hard to know how the product was being received. Siloed product/design/engineering organizations. Too many "Yes people" and suck-ups at the upper levels of management. Recent changes to health insurance were awful.

Pros

Great team Fast pace Learning experience

Cons

Many teams are inverse pyramids, lots of senior managers and above and very few individuals to actually do work Promotions are based more on politics then true needs of the company, with many individuals promoted with no real change in their day to day activities Jobs have become stale with little to keep people motived Projects are not well throughout and poorly executed This all leads to cash burn

Pros

Great mission. Lots of smart people, generally.

Cons

A lot of software being built with no end users in mind, and few people using the products. Lots of people work hard and swarm a problem for an extended period of time, and then the software slowly dies out and goes untouched. Lots of people leaving the company.
