      Pros

      Great people, very engaged work force. Awesome food! Nice office. Indigo has the potential to do really interesting things for the planet.

      Cons

      There are no phones in the offices and the company doesn't pay for your phone. Huh? Is this for real? I still can't believe it. The other really awful thing about Indigo is that there's no match on the 401(k) contribution. Apparently the CEO's philosophy is that the company shouldn't match the 401(k) contribution until it's making money. That's all well and good if you're the CEO, who I'm sure is all set for retirement but what about those of us who actually do need to save for retirement?

      Pros

      Work with really smart people for a great mission.

      Cons

      Leadership drawn mostly from tech field, but with very little to zero agriculture experience resulting in ineffective strategy. Company regularly fails to meet goals and leadership never asks why, just asks staff to sacrifice. Strategy is drifting from mission toward simply survival as an organization, in the process they are becoming just like many other companies in the ag industry and are willing to put profits ahead of what is best for farmers.
