Pros

They claim to be cutting edge and "fast paced", and wish they honestly were, don't be fooled.

Cons

Management, top down confusion, dishonesty, claim to be a "Disruptor" without solid plan, and where they are going. Save your resume and skip Indigo.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It's always helpful to understand perspective from employees. For anyone considering joining Indigo, if you read all reviews, you will see a theme that we move at a fast pace. For some this is a good fit; for others it is not. We try to acknowledge this (vs. "claim") so that people can accurately assess the culture. We do believe we are disrupting the industry and when CNBC ranked us #1 on their Disruptor 50 list, we were excited that they agreed. https://www.cnbc.com/cnbc-disruptors/ Like every company, we have growing pains, and every person applying to Indigo and reading these reviews should read them and use them as a part of their decision making process and I am grateful for every employee who takes the time to comment even when it's not positive. I don't agree with all of this reviewer's comments, but we will always listen.

Pros

There are some very smart people here that are passionate and capable. There is good company growth potential.

Cons

Many of the very smart people here are straight out of academia and occasionally don’t really have the people skills to build trust or work on larger projects. People work a lot... on a lot of things... but they don’t work smart and often don’t ask questions of their colleagues for fear of looking dumb. So a lot of busy work (especially building McKinsey style PowerPoint decks on what you’re going to be doing - Tufte would die) but not a lot of productive work. If you’re into solid, repeatable/commercial science, or big data there really isn’t that much - there’s good potential in the future for it. The behavioral economics side of the business seems more promising at the moment.
